It seems like only yesterday, when I took Rachel to Kindergarten for the first time. I sat next to her as I was filling out paperwork. She was to draw a picture of herself and write her name. I said, "You draw the picture of yourself today and I will help you write your name when you are done drawing." We had practiced writing her name a lot, but I had never seen her do it on her own. As I was writing down all the important things for her teacher, Mrs. Moreford, I heard , "I'm done!" I turn and look to my left and she had written her name on her own! Tears started streaming down my cheeks...

Today is another milestone...The first day of HIGH SCHOOL. Here is her schedule for the semester:
1. English 9
2. German 1
3. Ag Environmental Science
4. Geometry 9
5. Life Management
6. Geography/World Affairs
School starts at 7:55 and she is done at 3:00. After school for the next few days she has volleyball conditioning. Monday are try-outs. Yeah I am kinda dumb...I forgot to take a picture of her today. That would have looked nice on here next to the Kinder one. I will take one tomorrow...On her first morning of Seminary!

Wow, it's crazy how quick they grow up. First morning of seminary, YIKES!! I dread those early mornings. I'll send Ranse to come live with you guys when he's old enough for seminary since your up at 4 a.m. anyway. That way he can get a home cooked meal too!

Good Luck Rachel - You are Going to LOVE High School!!! Sorry to say, but it hates to be you when it comes to early morning seminary. You should have moved to Utah, so you can just count is as one on your normail classes! Good Luck with volleyball!

Send her to room 115 if she needs anything. Does she have Warren for Geography?
